BEFORE YOU LAUNCH

Your IXL login, step by step.

Prefer website login? Open IXL through Clever first if needed, then find your IXL username in Profile & settings. AXL needs your direct IXL details—not your Clever or AXL password.

    Open IXL from Clever

    Visit your usual Clever portal and sign in as you normally do. In Resources, choose the IXL tile. This opens your official IXL account.

    Find Profile & settings

    On IXL, click your name or profile picture in the top-right corner. Choose Profile & settings from that account menu.

    Note your username. Check your password options.

    Look for Username or “You are currently signed in as…”. Keep the complete IXL username, including any school suffix; it may not be your email address.

    If you need a new IXL password and your account allows it, select Change or Change password beside Password and follow IXL’s instructions. It may ask for your current password. AXL cannot view, retrieve or reset an IXL password.

    If Change is unavailable or you do not know a required current password, use IXL’s official recovery options if available. Do not assume your Clever password is the IXL password.

    Link your IXL account on AXL

    Open your AXL dashboard → Link your IXL account. Enter the IXL username and password you have confirmed, then choose Connect IXL & launch. AXL checks the sign-in and opens your workspace in the same tab. Open a lesson, then press M outside a text field to open the panel. It starts hidden; press M again to hide it.
