Save the AXL bookmark
Drag the AXL button below onto your bookmarks bar. Save it once in a desktop browser.

Open your IXL lesson
Sign into official IXL as usual, including through Clever if that is how you normally sign in. Open a lesson.

Click your bookmark
Click AXL in your bookmarks bar. On official IXL, it shows an Open in AXL workspace link for that lesson.

Open the workspace
Follow that link, then press M in the workspace lesson. If your workspace is not connected yet, use website login below first.

Show the bookmarks bar with Ctrl + Shift + B on Windows, or ⌘ + Shift + B on Mac. Drag this button onto the bar, then click the saved bookmark from an IXL lesson.

Launch directly from AXL.
You can use this route without clicking the bookmark. It is also how you connect a new IXL workspace for the bookmark route.
- Sign into your AXL account and open the dashboard.
- Enter your full direct IXL username and password if you have not connected it yet.
- Choose Launch IXL workspace, open a lesson, then press M.
If you already have a valid saved IXL connection, launch it without entering your school details again. AXL saves an encrypted session, without saving your IXL password.

Find your direct IXL login.
Sign into Clever as usual and open IXL. Select your name or picture at the top right, then Profile & settings.
Find your full IXL username there. If your account permits it, the Password section offers a change option. Some schools restrict changes or require the current password.

Get help, then keep practicing.
Choose Get answer for one question, or turn on Auto answer to fill and submit supported empty controls. Auto continues through challenge mode.
It stops on a wrong answer and pauses for unsupported controls, edited work or missing grading. Copy buttons use the entry format for each answer field.
Auto creates real graded attempts. The settings gear lets you adjust timing or switch AXL accounts. As quick as possible is the default.

I’m signed into official IXL. Why isn’t AXL there?
Click your AXL bookmark for a link to open the same lesson in your workspace. The panel runs in that workspace because official IXL blocks its external connection. Your official IXL sign-in is not transferred. If the workspace has no saved connection, choose the website-login option above to connect it once.
Do I need to reconnect every day?
AXL reuses the encrypted saved IXL session associated with your AXL account. Launch from the dashboard on return visits. Reconnect only if IXL expires the session, signs you out, or you choose another IXL account. A temporary connection-check failure does not erase the saved session.
Can I use the AXL bookmark here?
Inside the AXL IXL workspace, it toggles the same panel as M. On official IXL, it shows a link to the matching lesson in your workspace. It cannot replace direct IXL login or copy your sign-in. Get the AXL bookmark →
Why is an answer or Auto unavailable?
Open an active question and check your AXL balance. Read the panel message if capture, entry or grading can’t be verified. Some question controls are unsupported and require manual entry. AI answers can be wrong; review the answer before submitting.
